Always very vocal about his daily life,
LeBron James has however missed his shot about the Squid Game series. The
brutal response of the creator has also totally taken him by surprise! So he
decided to react to his massacre, on social networks.
LeBron James is like everyone else, he
sometimes needs to relax. And like many people, he too has followed closely
Squid Game, the Korean event series that was a hit on Netflix. Having entered
the world of cinema himself, the Laker had a particular eye on the work. But,
as he and Anthony Davis explained in a press conference, the end of the first
season left him hungry, claiming that a better conclusion would have been
possible.
Except that the King's words reached the
ears of the creator of the series, Hwang Dong-hyuk. And obviously, the latter
did not taste at all what LBJ had to say about his baby! As a response, he
simply slaughtered the winger during a recent interview. His message: You only
have to make your own version if you don't like mine. You may be a four-time
NBA champion, but your ears must have been ringing after that!

LeBron James in shock after Squid Game
creator's boisterous exit
Unsurprisingly, Dong-hyuk's outing didn't
escape LeBron's notice, as he is always very active on social media. He probably
didn't expect such a backlash for a simple opinion... In any case, his recent
Twitter post leaves little room for interpretation. It doesn't happen often,
but the Chosen One remained totally incredulous:
as some of the comments in response to his post pointed out, he shouldn't have been surprised that the Korean didn't appreciate his release. He himself experienced the criticism in theaters with his film Space Jam: A New Legacy, after all.
That said, one detail remains interesting:
the fact that Hwang Dong-hyuk has challenged the player to make a work as
popular as he has. With a certain status in the film industry to the point that
he now has a foothold in Hollywood, LeBron might well be taken with the idea.
Let's not forget that he will soon be 37 years old and his retirement is imminent.
A permanent switch to 7ᵉ art is quite possible, especially since he has already
produced several documentaries.
Clearly, LeBron James was surprised by the
bloody reaction of the creator of Squid Game. He will probably think twice
before trying it again, with another series...
